The hotel was built in 1993, the last renovation took place in 2012 (restaurant, bar, spa, football field and tennis courts) and in 2017-2021 (some rooms).
The hotel has one main building, built in the style of a Minoan palace, and three "Cretan villages" - "Agia Varvara", "Karakas" and "Pyrgos", consisting of one- and two-storey bungalows. All rooms, bungalows and suites of the hotel are decorated in traditional Cretan style, combining elegant decor and a high level of comfort.
